This '64 Fender Custom Shop Precision Bass Relic features the look, sound, and vibe of the original Precision Bass, an exquisite rebirth nearly 70 years after its groundbreaking debut. 

The 2-piece carefully selected alder body comes with a stunning relic lacquer finish. Subtle cracks on the body and dents and scratches from the bridge to the headstock give it the authentic feel of having been played in clubs and bars for years. The quarter-sawn maple neck has a classic '60s-style oval "C" profile and is paired with a vintage correct 7.25" radius round lamb rosewood fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets (6150) and a bone nut. A single Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Precision Bass split-coil pickup is wound using the same method as the original, delivering warm bass and punchy midrange. 

Other premium features include a 4-ply brown shell pickguard, vintage wiring, 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, vintage-style tuners, disc string tree, and includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
